I am Hollynn — athlete, believer and founder of 4HG. What began in one of he darkest seasons of my life, became a testimony of God’s Faithfullness.

MY STORY

Real Struggles. A Faithful God.
A Greater Purpose.

For a long time, my identity and worth were completely tied to softball. The pressure I placed on myself slowly became overwhelming. Every mistake felt personal. A bad at-bat could affect my entire day, and I often carried that frustration home with me.

Softball became the only thing I believed gave me purpose. I began struggling deeply with depression, anxiety, overthinking, and doubt. I isolated myself from the people I loved, convinced myself that I was worthless, and became mentally and physically exhausted. I even stopped praying because I felt undeserving of God’s love.

I tried to hide everything behind a smile, but inside, I was struggling more than anyone realized. Eventually, the darkness became so overwhelming that I no longer wanted to live, and I began experiencing suicidal thoughts. One night, I reached a point where I planned to end my life—but God intervened in a mighty way. During the darkest moment of my life, I called out, “Lord, how do I trust You? How do I know I am going to be okay?” In the back of my mind, I heard the words, “Open your Bible.” At first, I resisted, but I heard them again. When I finally listened, I opened my Bible directly to Isaiah 8—a passage calling God’s people to trust in Him. In that moment, I felt the pressure lift from me. The darkness was replaced with a peace and joy that I could never have created on my own. Jesus met me at my lowest point and reminded me that my life had value, my story was not finished, and I was never alone.

I still experience struggles, but I no longer face them by myself. Jesus has remained beside me through every step, becoming my light in the darkest moments. My experiences have taught me that our pain does not have to be wasted. God can use even our hardest battles as testimonies of His faithfulness and goodness.

First Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that God is faithful. When we face temptation, He will provide a way for us to endure it. When life feels too heavy and we are tempted to give up, we can trust that God is still with us in the middle of the storm.

Today, I am learning to play softball for an “Audience of One.” My performance no longer determines my identity or worth—Jesus does.

I created 4HG—“For His Glory”—as a reminder that everything we do should be done for His glory. This brand is more than clothing; it represents the purpose, hope, and identity we can find in Christ.

My mission is to follow Jesus, glorify Him through everything I do, and share His Word and my testimony with people who may be facing battles like the ones I have experienced.

I want others to know that they are never alone, their lives have purpose, and God can transform their deepest pain into something that brings hope to others.

This is the heart behind 4HG: living, playing, and doing everything For His Glory.
